谢巴德(1929-)

美国心理学家，由于对人脑加工过程的特性的研究而荣获国家科学奖。他的研究从根本上改变了人们对精神的认识，而且对心理学、哲学、计算机科学、语言学和神经科学等领域都有着深远的影响。1976年获美国心理学会颁发的杰出科学贡献奖，1977年当选为国家科学院院士。
